Bio After traveling the world with my Air Force husband and raising three children, I earned a BFA in Ceramics from Barton College (2016), I craft stoneware sculptures at the Dan Finch Studio. I love farm life with our chickens and miniature horses, and even more, sharing messy, joyful art and science projects with my grandchildren. Artist Statement In my work with stoneware clay, moments of flow and fleeting beauty take shape. Sometimes a mermaid emerges, a whisper of the sea captured in form, her curves echoing the movement of water. Driftwood, worn smooth by time and erosion, often joins her, a natural companion in the dialogue between earth and imagination. Light and shadow bring each piece to life, inviting the viewer to linger in the quiet poetry of form.
