I am a husband, dad of three, and Pop Pop of four. I served over twenty years in the USAF. and retired to Bailey, NC. We live the small-town life, and love it every day.

I met Dan Finch and visited his public studio starting in 2018. I was not a member, but spent many hours talking to Dan and watching him throw pots. My wife, Kim Hennes convinced me to join during the summer of 2019.

I’ve been steadily learning the craft and developing my style ever since. I mostly throw functional stoneware pottery. I’ve also been developing my color style using the standard studio glazes available at the Finch Studio. My pottery is fired in a cone 10 reduction environment to attain durability and depth of color.
