Born and raised in Baghdad Iraq, Menan Al Ramah is a ceramic artist whose work explores themes of resilience, memory, and cultural identity. Drawing from her experience as a refugee from Iraq, Menan creates sculptural vessels that blend raw, matte textures with architectural and geometric influences rooted in Middle Eastern aesthetics. Her pieces often resemble weathered metal or ancient artifacts, reflecting both personal and collective histories. Through clay, she gives form to stories of survival, loss, and transformation.
