I started throwing pottery when I was a student in college. I worked both in the school’s studio and spent a summer working under a great mentor of mine in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.
After college I joined the big world and found myself a nice job and dried my hands for a while from the clay. Recently, I picked up where I left off and have found a new love for the craft and practice it part time. I enjoy making functional pottery that can be used daily. Most of my ideas come from my loving family who are always thinking up more stuff faster than my hands can make it. I have recently set up a new shop in my home and can not wait to see what pots will come.
