Elizabeth teaches continuing wheel and glaze classes at Claymakers in Durham. Her clay creations have been exhibited in Strictly Functional Pottery National, the Charlie Cummings Gallery, Baltimore Clayworks, Cedar Creek Gallery, The Clay Studio (Philadelphia), and the North Carolina Botanical Garden Sculpture show, among other places, and have toured as part of the permanent collection of the Bridges Organization for math-art intersections. Images of her work have appeared in Lark Publications’ 500 Vases and 500 Teapots (vol. 2), in the American Mathematical Society’s math-art calendars, and in Pottery Making Illustrated, for which she has authored three articles. In 2020, she became the contributing ceramicist for “Mathemalchemy” (MATH-eh-MAL-chem-y), a collaborative, touring math-art installation created by 24 math-inclined artists and art-inclined mathematicians.
